13 February 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – A lengthy feature in the February issue of The American Lawyer captured Bingham McCutchen’s successful growth strategy, strong leadership and positive working environment. The seven-page article states that “Bingham McCutchen has broken out of the Boston market with five acquisitions and a razor-sharp focus.”

The article explores and explains Bingham’s impressive growth over the past five years “rocketing from number 81 to 26 on the Am Law 100 list, the fastest rise of any firm.” The goal, according to chairman Jay Zimmerman: “To become the best national firm in five to seven years.” Also quoted in the article were Donn Pickett, Chris Hockett, Ray Marshall, Michael Begert, David Balabanian, Mike Reilly, Justin Morreale, Bill Bachman, Libby Chambers and Hank Shafran.

The feature story also mentioned several lateral partners (Tina Brozman, Don Stern, Herb Janick, Hardy Callcott and James Roome), clients and practice groups, as well as Bingham Consulting Group, Bingham Legg Advisers and Bingham Strategic Advisors. The article also ran in Law.com, New York Lawyer and The Recorder in San Francisco.

British MP George Galloway and his opponent the Daily Telegraph will leave no stone unturned to sort out what could be a spectacular libel case.
