American Lawyer, Corporate Counsel, Law Technology News Pick Up Awards – Legal Announcements

Founded in 1964, the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) is the professional association for full-time and freelance editors and writers employed in the business, trade and specialty press. The American Lawyer received a gold award in the “Regular Department” category for its “Bar Talk” section” (January, February, and March 2007), edited by Paul Braverman. Silver medals were awarded to the magazine in the “Special Section” category for “The Pro Bono Project” (July 2007) and in the “Special Supplement” category for the ‘Litigation 2007” section (November 2007), both by the magazine’s editorial team.

ClickZ won a silver medal in the “B2B Website Publication Redesign” category for team efforts led by Rebecca Holz, Rebecca Lieb, Mark Shaw, Mark Stephens and Shuityan Tang. In addition, ClickZ was a “top ten” finalist in the “B2B Web Site of the Year” awards competition.

Corporate Counsel was recognized with a silver medal in the “Feature Article” category for “Saw No Evil” (January 2007) by Sue Reisinger.

Law Technology News received a silver medal in the “Regular Column, Contributed” category for “Web Watch” (February and October 2007) by Robert J. Ambrogi. The publication was also awarded a bronze medal in the “Design Front Cover- News Tabloid” category for its August 2007 issue by Shane DeLeers.
