Arville Named “Outstanding Young Healthcare Lawyer”

WASHINGTON, D.C. October 7, 2008 (LAWFUEL) – Firm Ober|Kaler is pleased to announce that Alan J. Arville has been selected by Nightingale’s Healthcare News for its 2008 ranking of “Outstanding Young Healthcare Lawyers.” Highly regarded by clients and colleagues, Mr. Arville is one of only twelve attorneys from across the nation selected for the list.

An associate in the firm’s Health Law Group, Mr. Arville focuses on transactional and regulatory law for the health care and nonprofit industry, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, corporate governance, managed care contracting, fraud and abuse, tax exemption and health care licensing. Most recently, he has served as counsel in connection with cutting edge health care transactions, including the formation of a health information exchange, structuring in-store healthcare retail clinics and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefits Plan contracting.

“Alan has a sophisticated understanding of complex health care transactions and a real ability to help clients navigate the ins and outs of large, intricate deals,” said Sanford V. “Sandy” Teplitzky, Chair of Ober|Kaler’s Health Law Group. “We are proud — but not surprised — to see him named among the country’s most outstanding young health lawyers.”

Mr. Arville is a frequent speaker on health law and nonprofit law topics, and is active in the American Health Lawyers Association as well as the American and District of Columbia Bar Associations.

A resident of Washington, D.C., Mr. Arville holds degrees from Georgetown University Law Center, (J.D., cum laude, 2003) and the University of Dayton (B.A., 2000).
