The ‘Asia Pacific Real Estate Law Firm of the Year’ award is part of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Awards for outstanding and accomplished projects, firms and individuals throughout 2007. DLA Piper won the legal firm award in the Company of the Year category which also recognises the market’s top developer, investor, consultant, and professional service provider. DLA Piper was voted first-place by a jury of leading market professionals on the basis of its market contribution, quality of customer service, market innovation, commercial success, market penetration and market depth.

Mabel Liu, Partner & Head of Real Estate, Greater China, DLA Piper, accepted the award on behalf of DLA Piper at the Asia Pacific Real Estate Awards and Asia Trends 2008 conference held at The Westin Bund Centre, Shanghai, China on 10 April, 2008. Mabel was an esteemed jury member along with real estate services and investment professionals, although she did not vote for the ‘Asia Pacific Real Estate Law Firm of the Year’ category.
