AUSTIN – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – National law firm Fish & Richardson P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Conor M. Civins to its Austin office, where he will practice commercial litigation.

Mr. Civins joins Fish & Richardson from the Dallas office of Vinson & Elkins, where he was an Associate in the firm’s litigation group. While working at Vinson & Elkins, Mr. Civins represented clients in such diverse cases as a national pharmaceutical company in diet drug litigation, a bank against claims of fraud and conspiracy, and a media client against claims of libel and defamation. He also represented an asylum-seeking family from Zimbabwe in a pro bono federal immigration court case.
Mr. Civins earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law with honors in 2003 and his B.A. in Political Science from Emory University in 1999. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
