Mr. Mandala will head the firm’s corporate and securities section, while Ms. Mross will lead the labor and employment counseling practice.

“As a technology-focused law firm, we view our corporate and employment practices as core elements of our service offerings,” says William Munck. “These two additions will bring significant strength to our platform aimed at providing exceptional legal services to technology companies and other businesses that depend on intellectual capital and innovation.”

Mr. Mandala has spent 17 years in private practice advising both small and large firms, including Fortune 500 companies, on a broad range of corporate, securities and banking matters. Previous to joining Davis Munck, Mr. Mandala was a partner in the Dallas offices of both Baker & McKenzie and Arter & Hadden. He is a graduate of Tulane Law School in New Orleans, LA.

Ms. Mross comes to the firm from Haynes and Boone, LLP, where her labor and employment practice focused on counseling companies to develop and implement sound employment policies and procedures, aimed at improving employee productivity and minimizing exposure to employment litigation. Her work in preventing conflicts before they arise has included extensive development and presentation of in-house training programs. She also represents employers in defense of employment, wage and discrimination claims filed through government agencies.

Previous to her legal career, Ms. Mross worked for 11 years as a human resources professional, most recently at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Plano, Texas. In 2002 she served as President of the Dallas Human Resource Management Association and she currently serves as the Legislative Affairs Co-Director for the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resources Management.

Ms. Mross is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
