(Dallas) – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – The Dallas law firm of Shackelford, Melton & McKinley, LLP, is pleased to announce that Steven J. Pawlowski has joined as a partner in the firm’s litigation section.

Mr. Pawlowski has a broad range of experience in trial, appellate and arbitration proceedings. He concentrates his practice on business and construction disputes on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.

“Steve is a wonderful attorney, and is a great addition to our firm,” says name partner John Shackelford. “His expertise and experience will significantly bolster our litigation group.”

His prior experience includes handling litigation over a wide range of business and construction disputes, including general contract matters, warranty issues and products liability claims. He has particular expertise in resolving disputes under the Residential Construction Liability Act and the Deceptive Trade Practices – Consumer Protection Act.

Mr. Pawlowski earned his law degree from Baylor Law School in 1996, where he was a member of both the Moot Court and Mock Trial teams. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Mr. Pawlowski is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Dallas and Collin County Bar Associations.
