DALLAS – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Two attorneys from the Dallas law firm of Stewart Stimmel LLP have earned a place on the 2006 listing of Texas Rising Stars. Partner R. Keith Dugger and associate Mary Jean Geroulo both are recognized for their expertise in health care law.
Texas Rising Stars selections are based on nominations made by attorneys honored as Texas Super Lawyers in 2005. Those Super Lawyers were asked to identify up-and-coming attorneys age 40 or younger or who have been practicing 10 years or less.
“It is always an honor to have attorneys at our firm recognized for their work,” says Linda M. Stimmel, co-founder and name partner of the firm. “But it is especially rewarding to know that the state’s top attorneys recognize the good work that Keith and Mary Jean do for our clients.”
Mr. Dugger has been instrumental in the development and management of the firm’s regulatory and transactional practice group. He focuses his practice on regulatory, operational and transactional health care matters, representing medical facilities, physician practices, management services organizations and a diverse array of other health care industry players.
Ms. Geroulo’s practice focuses on health care reimbursement, compliance and transactional issues. Prior to earning her law degree, she worked more than 15 years in health care administration, including a stint as a hospital CEO. Her leadership and management experience give her a unique perspective and understanding of many challenges faced by the health care community.
The Texas Rising Stars list appears in the March 2006 issue of Texas Monthly magazine and in 2006 Texas Rising Stars, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.
