Davis Polk wins four awards at Euromoney’s 2022 Women in Business Law Americas Awards

Davis Polk and the firm’s partners received four awards at the 2022 Euromoney Women in Business Law Americas Awards, which honor the achievements and contributions of leading women lawyers and the diversity and inclusion initiatives of law firms across the Americas.

Davis Polk was named “Career Development International Firm” in recognition of the firm’s wide array of women-led training programs which are aimed at the further development of communication, management and leadership skills. The firm was also named “Gender Diversity International Firm” for hosting events led by internal and external women leaders, hosting in-person social networking opportunities and implementing initiatives that focus on the retention, development and promotion of women lawyers.

In addition, Davis Polk Financial Institutions co-head and partner Margaret Tahyar was named “Financial Regulation Lawyer of the Year” for her work advising on numerous multibillion dollar deals on behalf of high profile clients such as Truist Ventures, CenterState Bank and First Interstate BancSystem.

Davis Polk partner Natasha Tsiouris was named “Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyer of the Year” for her work advising on one of the few cases to attempt an orderly transition of plugging and abandonment liabilities to predecessors in title of lease interests within the oil and gas sector.

The Euromoney Women in Business Law Americas Awards were presented on June 9, 2022.
