Debevoise advises Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in announcement with JohnsonDiversey on Equity Investment and Company Recapitalization

New York – – October 7, 2009 – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc. (“CD&R”) in its agreement with JohnsonDiversey, Inc., under which a CD&R-managed fund will invest $477 million for a 46 percent equity interest in the company as part of a broader recapitalization transaction valued at $2.6 billion.
