DLA has advised Liverpool City Council on the transfer of its £66 million contract for the maintenance of its social housing stock from Interserve (Facilities Management) Limited to Enterprise- Liverpool Limited, a leading provider of support services to the utility and local authority markets.
Enterprise, who already handle the maintenance of the city’s highways, will receive in excess of £20m per annum to carry out planned and reactive maintenance of all Liverpool City Council’s stock of social housing. Enterprise will commence work this week and the duration of the current contract is for three years.
Litigation partner, Mark Goodwin and Commercial and Projects lawyer, Sarah Bell both based in DLA’s Liverpool office, led the transaction and worked closely with Jeanette McLoughlin the Assistant City Solicitor for Liverpool City Council.
