Firm expands Intellectual Property Practice Groups in New York with the Addition of Daniel I. Schloss
NEW YORK, July 31, 2006 – The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced today that Daniel I. Schloss has returned to the firm as of counsel in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Intellectual Property practice groups in the New York office. Mr. Schloss practiced at Greenberg Traurig for eight years before becoming the first ever in-house intellectual property licensing counsel for the City of New York and its new marketing office. While with the City, Mr. Schloss negotiated corporate sponsorship agreements for major events in New York City and was instrumental in developing the City’s first centrally managed trademark licensing program. Mr. Schloss focuses his practice on the development, protection, licensing, transfer, and commercial exploitation of intellectual property and technology.

Mr. Schloss earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, his M.A. from Boston University and his B.A., cum laude, from Yeshiva University.
