Kilpatrick Stockton employees recently joined together to form the Sudanese Refugee Children’s Foundation in an effort to help provide educational assistance to Sudanese refugees in the United States. To commemorate the launch of the Sudanese Refugee Children’s Foundation, Kilpatrick Stockton has invited Deborah Scroggins, an expert on Sudan and author of the book Emma’s War, to discuss the conflict and humanitarian crisis in Sudan. Ms. Scroggins has won six national journalism awards for her reporting from Sudan and the Middle East and has been reporting on Sudan since 1988.
