Kilpatrick Stockton LLP announced today that Kurt Lindquist and Rey Pascual have each been elected to serve a three-year term on the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Lindquist heads the Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s Charlotte office, while Mr. Pascual is a member of the Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Atlanta office.

Kurt Lindquist’s practice concentrates on complex business and commercial litigation including toxic torts, environmental litigation, commercial disputes, ERISA, health care and tax matters. In addition, his practice includes litigating issues that commonly arise between business entities including unfair and deceptive trade practices, trade secrets and interfering with business relations.

“Kurt has played an integral role in the strategic development and expansion of our client base in the Litigation group, a leading practice area for the firm,” said Bill Brewster, Kilpatrick Stockton Managing Partner. “I look forward to utilizing his expertise in his expanded role.”

Rey Pascual practices corporate finance and securities laws, both domestically and in Latin America. Recent work includes his representation of PracticeWorks, Inc. in its $500 million sale to Eastman Kodak and Turbochef Technologies in various transactions, including private and public placements of securities and an acquisition. Mr. Pascual also heads the firm’s investment management practice team and represents numerous investment funds and advisers. Mr. Pascual has been recognized as a leading lawyer for corporate and mergers and acquisitions law by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers, as a Super Lawyer by Atlanta Magazine, and as a Who’s Who in Law by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
