Law Firm Akin Gump Expands New York Real Estate Practice

Metzger has joined the firm as a partner in the real estate and finance practice group in New York. Mr. Metzger brings extensive experience in real estate transactions, with an emphasis on acquisitions, development, joint ventures and financing.

Bruynes and William L. Sturman in the investment funds practice.

Mr. Metzger received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany in 1980 and his J.D. in 1983 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was associate editor of the Cardozo Law Review. He joins the firm from New York law firm Herrick, Feinstein LLP.
