Law firms are planning to hire more equity partners and full-time nonequity members because they are confident the demand for legal services is growing, according to a survey released Wednesday by Citi Private Bank Law Firm Group.

The Law Watch managing partner confidence index survey for the second quarter, however, showed confidence in associate hiring fell slightly.

Managing partners’ “continued confidence in demand growth is reflected in projected headcount increases, particularly in equity partners,” the report stated. Read more at Law360
