LAWFUEL – British Prime Minister Tony Blair has stated that he believes the manner of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s execution was completely wrong and he would make a statement on the issue next week, his office said on Sunday.

Chancellor Gordon Brown, who is expected to succeed Blair as Prime Minister later this year, on Sunday told the BBC1 in an interview that the taunting of Saddam during his execution and the release of illicitly recorded video was ‘deplorable’ and ‘completely unacceptable’.

Meanwhile, Blair has backed the Iraqi Government’s announcement of an inquiry into the circumstances of the execution of Saddam Hussein.
