LAWFUEL – Law News Network – Linklaters announces the hire of Stan Renas as a partner in its US structured finance & derivatives practice, based in New York.
Stan, who spent seven years with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP before joining Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP last year, is the fourth partner to join the thriving practice since its establishment in August 2004. His election brings the total number of New York-based partners to 22. Linklaters now has more than 100 lawyers in New York, having more than doubled the size of its US team in the space of two years.
Stan’s structured finance and derivatives experience focuses on cash and hybrid synthetic CLOs, master-feeder structures, off-balance sheet and tax-oriented financings, insurance product transactions, vehicle securitisation transactions and project financings.
