Leventhal has joined the Washington, D.C. office as Partner in the firm’s Communications Group. Leventhal was previously the sole founding partner at the Washington, D.C. law firm Leventhal Senter & Lerman (which he managed from 1982-2000).

Leventhal has more than 40 years of experience representing clients in virtually every facet of the broadcast, telecom/common carrier, wireless, satellite and international communications, and media production and distribution industries. He has advised numerous media companies on copyright, trademark and Internet-related matters and believes that Holland & Knight will enable him to expand his practice and better serve the interests of his long-standing clients (including Grupo Televisa, SAB and Grupo Prisa, SA).

In 1996, Leventhal served as a U.S. Delegate to the International Telecommunication Union World Telecommunications Policy Forum in Geneva. He has been selected for the International Who’s Who of Telecommunications Lawyers every year since 2001, and for the last five years, Leventhal has been named to the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers in the field of Regulatory Communications.
