LAWFUEL – The Law Firm Newswire – Bryan Cave recently represented Mushrif Trading and Contracting Company KSCC (MTCC) and Kipco Asset Management Company (KAMCO) in the 100 percent capital increase by MTCC and subsequent purchase by Gulf Consortium 2 of all of the shares resulting from the capital increase.
Valued at $100 million, the deal is the first whereby a portion of the purchase proceeds were used by the issuer to fund the acquisition of two UAE-based companies currently owned by sister companies of the purchaser (Gulf Consortium 2). Gulf Consortium 2 is a subsidiary of Ithmar Capital, a Dubai-based private equity firm and a strategic ally in the region of the international private equity firm 3i.
