May 18, 2015 – DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Lisa Jacobs, partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office, has assumed the role of chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Business Law Section for the 2015-2016 term.
Jacobs has served on the executive committee of the Section for the past four years. In years prior, Jacobs had been elected to positions of secretary, treasurer, vice chair and chair-elect. She currently serves on the Section’s Title 15 Committee, which is responsible for drafting legislation to update Pennsylvania’s Business Organizations Statutes and most recently facilitated the passage of Pennsylvania’s new Model Entity Transaction Act, effective July 1, 2015. She also serves on the Section’s Voidable Transactions Committee, which recently completed a review and proposed modification of Pennsylvania’s Fraudulent Transfer Statutes.
