LONDON -LAWFUEL – Law News Network- Allen & Overy has advised on the sale of BCA Holdings Limited to Montagu Private Equity which closed today. BCA Holdings Limited is the parent company of the pan-European British Car Auctions group, which provides physical and electronic car auction services, including through operating 40 auction sites in 11 countries across Europe, including the UK, France, Germany and the Nordic region.
The Allen & Overy team was led by Corporate partners Stephen Mathews and Gillian Holgate, assisted by senior associate David Kennedy. Allen & Overy originally advised the seller when the current shareholders acquired the BCA group in 1995, then acted for the BCA group on two successful refinancing rounds in 2002 and 2005 and has now acted on the sale of the group.
