LOS ANGELES – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Debra W. Yang, U.S. Attorney for the Central District; Tom Syta, Assistant Director, Western Region of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC); and Oscar Villanueva, Inspector in Charge, Los Angeles Division of the U. S. Postal Inspection Service are hosting a one-day seminar for law enforcement and community based organizations to promote education and awareness of consumer fraud targeted at the Hispanic community and to develop law enforcement responses. District Attorney Steve Cooley will be a guest speaker and the FTC will announce new cases at the event.
The media is invited for opening remarks, guest speaker, and Q&A to learn about this initiative. One-on-one interviews in English and Spanish will be available after the opening remarks, guest speaker, and group Q&A.
