McLEAN, Va. – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Lynn E. Eccleston has joined the Tysons Corner office of McGuireWoods LLP as of counsel in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department. A registered patent attorney with 20 years of experience, she is a member of the firm’s full-service patent practice and focuses on biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical patent matters, including patent litigation, counseling and prosecution.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Eccleston was a principal with Eccleston Law Firm in Washington, D.C. Previously, she was a partner in the intellectual property group of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Washington, D.C. She is a former law clerk to Judge Oscar H. Davis at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Eccleston received both her law degree and master’s degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich.; and her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, and plans to waive into the Virginia Bar.
