NAPLES, Fla., Jan. 26 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network — Cohen & Grigsby P.C. is pleased to announce that the lawyers and staff formerly with Siket, Solis & Maher, P.L. of Naples, Florida have recently joined the firm. Attorneys Andrew G. Siket,
Andrew I. Solis, Ellen S. Maher, Maria I. Barbosa, and David T. Lupo, along
with their support staff, have all joined Cohen & Grigsby.

According to the Firm’s president, Jack W. Elliott, “The joining of Siket,
Solis & Maher’s attorneys and staff is a key component of our strategic plan
for Southwest Florida. Since opening its first Florida office in 2001, the
firm has experienced exponential growth, particularly in the Naples area,”
said Elliott. “We are pleased that expanding our core group of legal services
will enable us to better serve our clients in the area. Of course, our firm’s
fundamental commitment will continue to drive all of our Florida operations:

Andrew G. Siket joins the firm as a Director in the Litigation Group.
With more than 20 years of legal experience, Mr. Siket concentrates his
practice in real property and commercial litigation and serves numerous
business entities, including those engaged in manufacturing, medical services,
financial services, real estate development, and agriculture. He also serves
as eminent domain counsel for a number of Florida companies. Andy earned his
J.D., (cum laude, Best Advocate Award, National Moot Court Team honors,
Highest grades in Business Entities Law and in Securities Law) from the
University of Maine School of Law in 1983, his Master of Divinity (magna cum
laude) from St. Mary’s University in 1977, and his B.S. in Economics (Dean’s
List) from the University of Maine in 1971. He is admitted to practice in
Florida; North Carolina; Colorado; Tennessee; and Maine; and before the United
States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeal for the 1st and 11th
Districts; and the United States District Courts for the Districts of Maine,
Colorado, Middle District of Florida, and Southern District of Florida,
including Trial Bar. He is a member of the American, Florida, Collier County,
Maine, Colorado, Tennessee, and North Carolina Bar Associations. Andy is also
a member of the 28th Judicial District Bar and is active in local, state and
national politics and numerous wildlife and environmental organizations.
Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Mr. Siket was a partner and principal with
the law firm Siket, Solis & Maher, P.L. in Naples, Florida.
Andrew I. Solis joins the firm as a Director in the Litigation Group. Mr.
Solis concentrates his practice in the area of complex business and
construction litigation. His practice also includes commercial, real property
and probate litigation. Mr. Solis served as law clerk to Justice Ben F.
Overton of the Florida Supreme Court from 1991-1993. He earned his J. D. from
the Florida State University College of Law in 1991 and his B. S. in
Industrial Management from the University of Alabama in 1986. He is admitted
to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court, Middle
District of Florida and the United States District Court, Northern District of
Florida. He is a member of the American, Florida and Collier County Bar
Associations, and currently serves as president of the Thomas S. Biggs
American Inns of Court. He is a member of the Real Property and Probate and
Trust Section of the Florida Bar. Andy is also a member of the Florida State
University College of Law Alumni Association and the University of Alabama
Alumni Association. Mr. Solis is active in various religious and charitable
organizations and supports “Eden Presents…” in Collier County. He is fluent
in Spanish. Mr. Solis was a partner and principal with the law firm Siket,
Solis & Maher, P.L. in Naples, Florida. He resides in Naples, Florida.
Ellen S. Maher joins the firm as a Director in the Real Estate Group. Ms.
Maher concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and residential
real estate transactions and related matters. She earned her J.D. from the
University of Maine School of Law in 1988 and her B.A. in History with a
Philosophy Minor (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Southern Maine in
1985. She is also an agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
and for Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund. She is admitted to practice in
Florida and Maine and before the Federal District Courts in Florida and Maine.
Ellen is a member of the Florida, Collier County, and Collier County Women’s
Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Real Property and Probate and
Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and a member of the Collier Building
Industry Association. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Ms. Maher was a
partner and principal with the law firm Siket, Solis & Maher, P.L. in Naples,
Florida. She resides in Naples, Florida.
Maria I. Barbosa joins the firm as an Associate in the Real Estate Group
and the Litigation Group. Ms. Barbosa concentrates her practice in the areas
of real estate, commercial and construction litigation law. She earned her
J.D., (Member, Law Students Foundation; Member, Spanish American Law Students
Association) from the Florida State University College of Law in 2000, her
Master of Health Services Administration from Florida International University
in 1994 and her B.S.B.A. from the University of Florida in 1990. She is
admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court,
Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida, Collier County,
and Collier County Women’s Bar Associations and a member of the American Inns
of Court. Maria has served on the American Cancer Society Board of Directors
in Naples, Florida and as a New Directions Member for the American Cancer
Society in Miami, Florida. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

firm Siket, Solis & Maher, P.L. in Naples, Florida. She resides in Naples,
Florida.
David T. Lupo joins the firm as an Associate in the Litigation Group. Mr.
Lupo concentrates his practice in the areas of general commercial litigation
and corporate matters. He earned his J.D. (cum laude; Editor-in-Chief,
University of Miami Entertainment and Sports Law Review; Vice President and
Member, International Moot Court Board; Omicron Delta Kappa; Phi Delta Phi
International Legal Fraternity; Alpha Epsilon Lambda National Graduate Honor
Society; Dean’s List) from the University of Miami School of Law in 1999 and
his B.A. in European History (cum laude, Honor Roll, Dean’s List) from
Washington & Lee University in 1996. He is admitted to practice in Florida
and before the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
David is a member of the Florida bar, the American and Collier County Bar
Associations, and the Thomas S. Biggs American Inns of Court. Prior to
