NEW YORK – 21 February 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Attorney Claudia T. Salomon has joined the global law firm DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary US LLP, where she will assist in leading the firm’s International Arbitration practice group in the U.S., the law firm has announced. Ms. Salomon will be Of Counsel in the Litigation practice group, and based in the New York office.

“We are delighted to welcome Claudia to DLA Piper,” said Bob Mathias, national chair of the firm’s Litigation practice group. “With her substantial experience and knowledge of European and U.S. law and practice, she will play an integral role in the growth of our International Arbitration practice.”

Joseph Finnerty III, head of the Litigation group in the firm’s New York office, added, “Claudia’s extensive work experience in the U.S. and abroad will make her a key player not only in strengthening the International Arbitration practice in the U.S., but also in aiding in the integration of our Global International Arbitration practice.”

“I am delighted to be working with DLA Piper at this very exciting time of international expansion,” said Ms. Salomon. “As our clients’ businesses increasingly reach across borders, we are expanding our services to meet their needs.”
