New York and Hong Kong – August 16, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP advised SK Telecom and Momenta (Cayman) on a US-SEC registered offering and Momenta (Cayman)’s sale of 47.9 million American Depositary Shares (ADS) of SK Telecom, valued at approximately US$1.03 billion. The offering was made in connection with the sale of ADSs of SK Telecom held by Momenta (Cayman) in order to refinance exchangeable notes issued by Momenta (Cayman) in 2002 in the aggregate amount of US$1.25 billion, which became due and payable on August 1, 2005.
