NEW YORK, Dec. 10 2004 – LAWFUEL – First with law news — On December 7, 2004, American International Group (NYSE: AIG) filed with the SEC to sell $25.1 billion in
debt, stock and other securities. The Company is currently facing class
action lawsuits stemming from investigations by the New York Attorney General
into the Company’s payment of “contingent commissions” in return for steering
it business and shielding it from competition.
