Mr. Rothery, (41), joins Stroock from Jones Day’s New York office where he was a Partner and co-chair of the Mechanical Technologies/Medical Device Group. Prior to Jones Day, he was a Partner at Pennie & Edmonds until 2003. He has litigated federal patent and trademark and state unfair competition and business tort claims for plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Rothery’s practice also includes counseling of clients on clearance issues and the development of international and domestic intellectual property portfolios.
