New York, November 29, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Greenberg Traurig will receive the Law Firm Award tonight at inMotion’s 7th annual Commitment to Justice Awards. The firm is being honored for its outstanding commitment to pro bono services and ongoing support of inMotion, a New York City-based non-profit organization that provides low-income, under-served or abused women with free, quality legal services.

The award also recognizes Greenberg Traurig’s focus on educating corporations nationwide about domestic violence, while serving as a role model for all employers on protecting employees from domestic abuse.

Greenberg Traurig has served as a corporate partner for inMotion since 1999, providing financial support and encouraging the firm’s attorneys and legal assistants to serve in inMotion’s pro bono program. To date, 74 volunteers at the firm have represented 36 inMotion clients in Family and Supreme Court. Many of these cases have been complex, requiring hundreds of hours of work over the course of a year or more.

Greenberg Traurig and other Commitment to Justice Award recipients will be honored at the Dahesh Museum of Art, 580 Madison Avenue (bet. 56th and 57th) starting at 6:30 pm.
