New York, NY— 2 June – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – The New York office of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP (K&LNG) welcomes Douglas F. Broder as a partner in the firm’s antitrust and trade regulation practice. Broder comes to K&LNG from Nixon Peabody LLP, where he headed the firm’s antitrust practice.

Broder’s practice includes providing antitrust counsel to national and international clients in a wide variety of industries, as well as assisting clients in obtaining antitrust clearance for mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. He also litigates antitrust matters, including criminal matters, as well as insurance coverage, securities and other commercial cases.

Broder has written extensively on the subject of antitrust. His most recent book, “Guide to U.S. Antitrust Law,” explains U.S. antitrust laws to European lawyers and business interests and was just published in Europe by Sweet & Maxwell.

Woody Collins, administrative partner of K&LNG’s New York office, commented: “Douglas’s extensive antitrust experience and his significant litigation and appellate work will enable our firm to continue to respond to our national and international clients’ needs in this complex and increasingly important area of law.”

British MP George Galloway and his opponent the Daily Telegraph will leave no stone unturned to sort out what could be a spectacular libel case.
