Ms. Spiegel, a member of the firm’s Corporate Department and Investment Management Group, advises hedge funds and private equity funds with respect to fund formation. Prior to joining Debevoise in 2001, Ms. Spiegel was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell and a law clerk to the Hon. Loretta A. Preska of the Southern District of New York. Ms. Spiegel received her J.D. with honors from Fordham University School of Law (1996), where she was a Senior Articles Editor of the Fordham Law Review. She received her M.A. in History (1993) and her B.A. in French (1989) from Yale University.
