(New York, NY) – LAWFUEL – Law Press Release Service – David J. D’Urso has joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP as a partner in its private equity practice in New York, the firm announced today.
Mr. D’Urso represents private equity sponsors, venture capital investors and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of transactions, including leveraged acquisitions, growth equity investments and corporate financings. In addition, he advises private equity investors in the management of their portfolio companies, including corporate governance matters, management incentive plans, debt and equity financings, follow-on acquisitions, restructurings and liquidity events. He joins the firm from O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where he was a partner.
Mr. D’Urso received his B.A. from Binghamton University, his M.A. from St. John’s University and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
