New York, NY – (May 11, 2005) – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP represented Taruga Limited in its sale of the Multon group of companies to The Coca-Cola Company and the Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (“Coca-Cola HBC”).

Multon is the number two juice maker in Russia, the fifth-largest juice market in the world. Multon has production facilities in Moscow and St. Petersburg and produces and distributes juice products under the brands Rich, Nico and Dobry.

Coca-Cola HBC is one of the world’s largest bottlers of products of The Coca-Cola Company and has operations in 26 countries which service a population of more than 500 million people.

The Debevoise team was led by counsel Holly Nielsen and included associates Natalia A. Drebezgina, Anton I. Batirev and Alyona N. Kucher in Moscow, with assistance from partner Gregory V. Gooding and associate Mark S.A. Van Dam in New York, and partner Geoffrey P. Burgess in London.
