Philadelphia, Pa. – October 18, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Pepper Hamilton LLP announced that Howard Goldberg, whose practice focuses on tax planning for domestic and international transactions, has rejoined the firm as a partner in the Philadelphia office.

Mr. Goldberg was an associate with Pepper from 1995 until 1998. He
practiced at Dechert until 2000. Since then, he has been practicing in the
Philadelphia and New York offices of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.
Mr. Goldberg’s practice includes advising on mergers, acquisitions,
reorganizations, dispositions, private equity and other capital markets
transactions, and restructurings in and out of bankruptcy.
Mr. Goldberg is a frequent speaker on a variety of transactional tax matters
and is an adjunct professor at Villanova University School of Law – Graduate
Tax Program.
Mr. Goldberg is a graduate of Haverford College (B.A. in economics, 1988)
and New York University School of Law (J.D. 1994; and LL.M. in taxation,
1995). While in law school, he served as an editor of Tax Law Review. Mr.
Goldberg is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.
