REED SMITH CROSBY HEAFEY ADDS KEY PLAYER IN CA
Reed Smith Crosby Heafey LLP today announced the addition of David Sturgeon-Garcia as a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. He specializes in financial services litigation, with a focus on defending lenders and other businesses in class actions and claims of unfair business practices under California¹s Business and Professions Code Sections 17200 and 17500.
A former chair of the mortgage banking group and the San Francisco litigation group at Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger, Mr. Sturgeon-Garcia is the most recent addition to Reed Smith’s rapidly growing California Financial Services practice.
“Establishing a strong West Coast base for our national Financial Services practice has been an important objective since combining with the more than 200 lawyers at Crosby Heafey,” said Greg Jordan, Reed Smith’s firmwide managing partner. “David helps us take another large step in that direction. He is already well-known among our current financial services clients and throughout the industry, and we are confident that the addition of David¹s practice to our own will be an excellent fit.”
