WASHINGTON, D.C., March 2009 (LAWFUEL) – The international law firm Bryan Cave LLP (www.bryancave.com) announced today that Charles A. Zielinski has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as Counsel and will focus his practice on regulatory and antitrust issues in the energy industry.

Before joining Bryan Cave, Zielinski was a partner at law firms in Washington, DC. and a member of the Environmental Energy and Natural Resources Group at his previous firm. Prior to entering private practice in 1981, he was an attorney with the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C. Zielinski served as chairman of the New York State Public Service Commission as well as serving as a member of numerous state communications and energy policy boards. He also was appointed chairman of the New York State Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment and the New York State Task Force on Telecommunications Policy. Additionally, Zielinski chaired a national committee to analyze the impact of the National Energy Act for the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissions.
Zielinski received his J.D. in 1969 from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and his bachelor’s degree in 1966 from LeMoyne University.
