Canadian Man Faces Court After 12kg Cocaine Concealed Inside Suitcases at Sydney International Airport

(LAWFUEL) – A 19-year-old Canadian man will face Sydney Central Local Court today after being charged for importing an estimated 12 kilograms of cocaine concealed in the lining of two suitcases.

The man arrived at Sydney International Airport on a flight from Canada yesterday (15 December). Customs officers selected the man for an examination of his baggage, which revealed packages had been concealed inside two false compartments within the lining of the two suitcases.
