Mr. Braendel was a partner, and Ms. Harris was an associate, at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw, LLP in Chicago. Mr. Braendel will head up Baker & McKenzie’s real estate and alternative asset fund formation team.

He also has significant experience in regulatory matters, the Investment Advisers Act, the Investment Company Act, joint ventures, tender offers, partnerships, shareholder rights plans, corporate governance, and REITs.
Ms. Harris’ practice also focuses on fund formation, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, tender offers, partnerships, shareholder rights plans, corporate governance, and REITs.
