CHICAGO – LAWFUEL – Law, legal, attorney, law firm newsPiper Rudnick partner Adrianne C. Mazura has been appointed to the executive committee of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the law firm has announced.

The IICLE is an independent, self-supporting nonprofit corporation whose sole purpose since 1961 has been to provide career-long practice guidance and tools to Illinois lawyers and judges. Nearly all its board members serve as volunteer instructors and authors for the organization.

“We are gratified to learn that Adrianne has been appointed to this important post,” said Allen Ginsburg, managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office. “Her clients and colleagues know that IICLE will benefit greatly from her knowledge and experience.”

Ms. Mazura is the head of the Labor and Employment practice in the Chicago office. She has represented employers before the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as before numerous state agencies, courts, and arbitration panels. Among her clients are manufacturing companies, telecommunications companies, professional organizations, financial institutions, and airlines.

Ms. Mazura is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. She has been named an Illinois Leading Lawyer in two categories — Employment Law (Management) and Labor Law (Management). She is also known as an author and frequent lecturer on labor law and related topics. Ms. Mazura is a co-author of What To Do When The Union Calls for the Chicago Association of Commerce and Industry and Drug Testing In The Workplace, a joint publication of the Bureau of National Affairs and the American Society for Clinical Pathologists.

Her appointment to the IICLE executive committee became effective in June.
