CHICAGO, Oct. 5 – LAWFUEL – The4 Law News Network – Deloitte & Touche USA LLP General Counsel Philip Rotner, 58, has joined Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP’s Chicago litigation practice.

As General Counsel of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP since 1995, Mr. Rotner
served as the chief legal officer for a Big Four accounting firm with over
30,000 employees and 2,500 partners in 80 nationwide offices, offering
services to more than one-half of the world’s largest companies. Mr. Rotner
managed a legal team of over 50 attorneys.

Previously, Mr. Rotner was Chair of the Securities Litigation Group of
McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen in San Francisco, now known as Bingham
McCutchen. He also has served as a visiting faculty member for the Harvard Law
School Trial Practice Program and as a guest lecturer at Stanford Graduate
School of Business and at Boalt Law School.
