CITAC Counsel Lewis Leibowitz will testify before the House Ways & Means Committee Trade Sub-committee about the importance of considering the interests of all Americans, including those in consuming industries, when the Ways and Means Committee drafts trade remedy provisions in legislation.
U.S. consuming industries face intense pressure from products made abroad that compete with U.S.-made products. Leibowitz will discuss several issues related to China and U.S. trade policy that are priorities for U.S. consuming industries including the issues of industrial user standing, zeroing, retrospective system of antidumping and countervailing duty orders and other issues related to the U.S.-China trade relationship.
