The survey, Lateral Partner Satisfaction: A Decade of Perspective, was conducted by Major, Lindsey & Africa, one of the world’s largest legal search firms, specializing in the recruitment of attorneys for law firms and corporate legal departments. The survey was sent to more than 5,000 lateral partners in more than 600 law firms and measures factors such as expectations vs. reality after joining a firm, success in integration and the direct relationship between that success and laterals’ satisfaction.
