It also demonstrates the need for lawyers to be ‘on their game’ when it comes to assessing the criteria that apply when such applications are made.
LawFuel recently listed a key job with the Commerce Commission who are seeking a senior legal counsel role to be filled. The role requires a variety of interesting legal work ranging from law drafting to advocacy and planning. It has recently listed and provides stimulating and challenging work either in Wellington or Auckland.
Two other public sector roles have also been listed on New Zealand’s dedicated law jobs site, both with the Public Trust and involving a search for trustees in Christchurch and Greymouth. These roles involve advisory work on trust and estate planning among other work.

Among the other law jobs listed include a job with one of New Zealand’s longest-established law firms, Hesketh Henry, who are seeking a civil litigation lawyer to handle a growing roster of interesting legal cases.
Trade mark attorneys James and Wells are seeking a trade mark attorney while well established Dunedin law firm Webb Farry is looking for lawyers to fill two roles, one as a commercial and property law role and another to fill a litigation role, suitable for a lawyer with one to three years post qualified experience.
