DALLAS (LAWFUEL) – The Dallas-based technology law firm Munck Carter, P.C. is strengthening its intellectual property section with the addition of attorney Michael G. Rodriguez.

Mr. Rodriguez concentrates his practice in the areas of patent and trademark preparation and prosecution. His experience includes prosecuting and defending patent reexaminations in a variety of technical areas including electronic devices, computer software and semiconductor devices.
Mr. Rodriguez’ practice also includes domestic and international patent procurement and enforcement, analysis of infringement and invalidity in support of litigation and counseling clients regarding copyright and trademark enforcement and compliance. Mr. Rodriguez has represented businesses in the construction, retail, restaurant, telecommunications, pet care, manufacturing and utilities industries.
A graduate of the Texas Wesleyan School of Law, Mr. Rodriguez earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Rodriguez worked as a senior engineer with TXU Energy. He also is a lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve and has received numerous commendations, including one for his actions during active duty in Iraq from July 2005 to April 2006.
