DALLAS (LAWFUEL) — The Dallas-based law firm of Taber Estes Thorne & Carr PLLC is announcing the addition of Sheri D. Crosby as an associate. Ms. Crosby represents companies in employment law matters in both federal and state courts. She also has experience in contract and benefits disputes.
Ms. Crosby joins the firm with a wide range of legal experience in employment law based on her prior work with two well-respected law firms in Dallas.

Ms. Crosby earned her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her law degree from the University at Buffalo Law School. She also served in prestigious legal clerkships with Texas’ 8th District Court of Appeals and the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
Ms. Crosby was recognized this year as the “Outstanding Young Lawyer” by both the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, for which she has served as a member of the board of directors and as a committee chair for several committees.
She currently serves as a co-chair for the Law in the Schools Committee of the Dallas Bar Association, and was named as the organization’s “Outstanding Minority Attorney” in 2007. She is also active in the J. L. Turner Legal Association, Dallas Urban Debate League, Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and has served as a member of Partnerships Advisory Committee for the Dallas Independent School District.
