(Dallas) – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Kelly S. Mixon, has been named as Director of Attorney Hiring at Fish & Richardson P.C.
Although based in Dallas, Mixon will be responsible for the central management of the recruitment of attorneys, engineers and scientists for all nine of the firm’s offices – Dallas, Austin, Boston, Delaware, New York, San Diego, Silicon Valley, Twin Cities and Washington, D.C.
As Director of Attorney Hiring, Ms. Mixon works with the firm’s practice group leaders and management to identify hiring needs, process hiring decisions, create new programs and recruiting strategies, to assist with strategic growth. She also manages the recruiting staff and budget, coordinates training and evaluation programs; organizes law school interview programs and job fairs; and oversees the firm’s summer associate program.
Ms. Mixon is a past president of the Recruiting Administrators of Dallas and currently serves on the National Association of Law Placement’s Attorney Development Committee. She is also a member of the Professional Development Consortium. She previously served as manager of attorney recruitment and director of firm development at Strasburger & Price, LLP, in Dallas. She is a 1996 graduate of Texas Tech University.
