Denver – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – James Faber, most recently known as counsel for some 65 investors seeking millions in damages from Denver-based Mile High Capital, is joining partners Jonathan Oster and John Martin to launch a new Denver-based law firm, Oster Martin & Faber, LLC.

Faber hails from longstanding Denver law firm, Dufford & Brown. While the growing caseload of defrauded Mile High Capital investors was one reason for the move – he fields calls daily from individuals who say they have claims against Mile High – the real reason was the opportunity to best serve his existing clients.

John Martin and Jon Oster have developed a powerful list of clients and built a sound reputation in the area of commercial litigation,” notes Faber. “The combination of their litigation expertise and my transactional background will allow us to achieve pragmatic solutions in both corporate and litigation matters.”

Oster & Martin, LLC was formed two years ago, specializing in commercial litigation. The new firm will provide a full range of corporate legal services, with a full staff of partners, associates and paralegals.

With the addition of Faber’s expertise in business law, tax and estate planning, Martin anticipates additional growth in 2006.

“The partnership allows us to provide a full continuum of business law expertise,” notes Martin. “We look forward to the opportunity the new partnership provides to more effectively achieve the results our clients seek.”

While the Mile High Capital case is one impetus for the move, the partners foresee the partnership lasting long past the current caseload.

Notes Jon Oster, “Denver still has a need for a law firm that keeps its staff lean, but offers experienced attorneys, personal attention and – most importantly – a successful resolution to its clients.”
