LawFuel.com – Law Firm News – Field Fisher Waterhouse, a European law firm which specializes in IP, corporate and technology practices, is opening an office in Palo Alto, California.
The office will be headed by Phil Lee, a partner who works in the firm’s privacy and information law group in its London office. The focus of the firm will be helping tech firms in the area by providing legal advice regarding European law and represent them on matters in Europe.
The firm already has American clients and says the new office is intended to give its Silicon Valley clients easier access to the firm’s offices across Europe. The firm in a press release said that it intends to attract corporate, technology, data protection, IP, digital media and litigation work.
Field Fisher Waterhouse has seven offices in Europe and the firm currently employs 151 partners and more than 220 lawyers across all its offices.
