February 2, 2005 (Philadelphia) – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Barbara Mishkin, Partner in the Philadelphia office of top-25 international law firm Reed Smith LLP, has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers (ACCFSL). Ms. Mishkin, a member of Reed Smiths Financial Services Group, will be inducted into the ACCFSL at the Colleges annual dinner on April 2 in
Nashville, TN.

contributed greatly to Reed Smiths growth in the financial services field. Her
expertise on matters of banking law and consumer compliance has been an
invaluable asset to our group.”

Ms. Mishkin received a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School
and a B.A. from Rutgers College.
At Reed Smith, Ms. Mishkin concentrates her practice in providing consumer
credit compliance advice on federal and state laws and regulations to banks,
thrifts, mortgage bankers and finance companies.

The ACCFSL is a professional association of lawyers particularly skilled and
experienced in the handling of consumer financial matters and dedicated to
the improvement and enhancement of the skill and practice of its law and
ethics. Those eligible for the organization have engaged in the practice of
consumer financial services law for at least 12 years, have achieved preeminence in
the field and have made repeated and substantial contributions to the
promotion of learning and scholarship in the field through teaching, lecturing and
published writings.
